It is as if the ocean has reached out to feed us is an evocative exhibition title exploring the realms of narrative, imagination, and abstraction through the lens of artistic mythmaking. A selection of recent paintings (Wallpaper Interiors series), alongside fibreglass and bronze sculptures (Favourite Games series) revolve around the central autobiographical narrative Original Stingray. Viewers are invited to navigate through the artist’s imagery of reconstructed memories dissolving into the realms of metaphysical abstraction.
