Michael eather
Since completing his BFA (sculpture major) in 1983 at the University of Tasmania, Michael Eather has exhibited across Australia and overseas in around thirty solo and fifty group shows. His works are held in numerous private, corporate, and public collections including QAGOMA, Parliament House Art Collection and UQ Art Museum.
In 2019, Eather established Ghost Ship Studio (Brisbane) where he continues to explore his multi-disciplinary (sculpture, painting and works on paper) artistic practice. Ongoing themes and ideas concerning the artist include metaphorical and symbolic narratives.

Parallel to above, Eather is the Director of FireWorks Gallery, a commercial enterprise established in 1993. In 1990 he co-founded Campfire Group Projects to promote collaboration and cross-cultural initiatives.
